Next To Nothingness
This is a 5-minute piece written (non-exclusively) for the season 3 Finale of the web series “eScape.” The temp track I wrote this for was ‘Reckoner’ off Radiohead‘s album ‘In Rainbows’ but my version is instrumental and a bit more intense rather than ethereal. It similarly maintains a melodic and melancholic vibe throughout, though. It features Fender Rhodes, live strings (violin, viola and cello) guitar, fretless bass and drum set. It starts with a groove and builds as each instrument is added. A dark part follows with strings and evolves into a reminiscent section followed by a powerful reprisal of the emotional beginning.
